Southbank believes that prioritizing the health and safety of our cast, crew, and audience members should be a top priority. As such, effective immediately, Southbank requires either (1) proof of vaccination at the door or (2) proof of a negative same day covid test for all performances.
What counts as proof?
In order to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test, we will accept the following:
1. Show vaccination card (or picture on phone)
2. Show certificate of vaccination downloaded from the in.gov website. Visitors from out of state may provide government issued proof, as well.
3. Bindle app picture of your vaccination card
4. Proof of a negative covid test taken on the day of the show — a picture on your phone is acceptable if the date can be verified.
One of the above is necessary for entry.
What if I cannot be vaccinated or have a child younger than 5?
Our current shows are more appropriate for older patrons (think rated M for mature), so children under 5 will not be admitted. For patrons who are not vaccinated due to doctor’s orders, we are offering streaming of our shows on Broadway OnDemand! See each show’s page for details on streaming dates.
Do I still have to wear a mask?
Because vaccines are highly effective, but not perfect, we will still require masks for all patrons for indoor theatre in order to best protect the health and safety of all cast, crew, and audience members.
Thank you for your cooperation with this new policy, and please arrive at the theatre early in order to facilitate this process!
What about the cast and crew?
All cast and crew members have been vaccinated for Covid and have also been tested prior to performing.
