Join us for a celebration of Southbank on October 22, 2022!
Join our host, Lola Lavacious, for a night celebrating Southbank! We’ll serve hors d’oeuvres and drinks while we showcase moments from our past, present, and future! We’re grateful to Mud Creek Players for allowing us to use their space for this special event! Come to the Mud Creek Barn Theatre, and help us continue to MAKE HISTORY!
Why should you contribute to Southbank?
In one year, we have produced five shows, produced 2 world premieres and 3 regional premieres, and given opportunities to almost 100 theatre artists! Our shows have addressed politics, the ancient world, the French Revolution, Black Lives Matter, toxic work environments, sex work, abortion, relationships, and much more! We’ve laughed, cried, and shared our souls on stage. Help us celebrate this accomplishment and ensure that we can continue to bring you theatre that makes history!
Our Mission
Southbank is a nonprofit theatre company dedicated to enriching the Indianapolis community — and beyond — through producing plays and musicals by both Indiana playwrights and playwrights of historical and contemporary significance. What makes us unique is our interest in history, politics, philosophy, and literature – and how those things can contribute to critical thinking, self-awareness, and social change.
